Calling all designers, aspiring designers or anyone with a creative urge to transform an idea into a handwoven reality!
I am collaborating with Estila – a fabulous platform that promotes creative small businesses and artists – and we are going to transform the winning deign into a real-life textile handwoven by artisans here in Tangier and then delivered to your door.
The winning design will be chosen by myself and Karolina of Estila and produced in Tangier, guided and overseen by myself.
So get designing! The only limitations are the loom and your imagination…stripes, pompoms, stitching, colour blocking.
SIZE: variable but not bigger than 1.5m x 2m
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Please submit your final design in PDF, which showcases the design pattern, colours and any specific details.
DEADLINE: 16th October 2023
