I think the best way to describe Dar Scribe is that it is a perfectly formed little house with a really big view!
I was lucky enough to make it my base for a few nights in Tangier and I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of it – it is in a good location and pretty easy to find – always important for someone like me who has moments of being geographically challenged!!
Walk into the Kasbah past El Morocco Club, straight down the road past La Tangerina on into the square overlooked by Salon Bleu – a little more on down the road, et voila!!
This two bedroomed house in the kasbah has been renovated with meticulous attention to detail and quality – from the well designed interior layout, to the considered colour palette, through to the amount of natural light streaming in from the terrace. It has been designed over 3 floors and despite its size there is a lot of space – with private areas to escape to read your book, or more social spaces to recline and appreciate the wonderful view across the medina and the bay.
Black accents with grey and yellow integrates all these areas, making for a relaxed escape from the colours and crowds of the medina.
Traditional Moroccan decorative elements sit comfortably alongside contemporary features and period pieces.
You can find out more about Dar Scribe from agents Tanger Location who always do a wonderful job of making sure your stay is comfortable, and that you have everything you need for a relaxing stay in Tangier.
I could have spent A LOT more time up on this terrace!
