Description
This beautiful Azilal carpet is a mixed weave woven in the high Atlas region of Morocco of the same name. Combining flat kelim style detail with tufted decorative symbols and designs make it an interesting and painterly piece.
The background stripes are in cream, plaster pink and deep berry/maroon. the tufted details are in the same colours but introduce notes of pistachio and orange into the mix.
