I seem to be surrounded by beautiful blues at the moment, and despite being a colour that is usually associated with summer and the beach, I have my eye on some cosy blues that are perfect for the season as we transition into winter here in the northern hemisphere . . .
Lets start big and bold with FAR too much alliteration and a bright blue Beni Ourain rug – email me directly at info@teaintangier for more information if you fancy sinking your toes into this handwoven beautiful blue pile on a winters morning.
I just happen to have a few in my SHOP if you want to have a look.
Add a midnight blue backpack from RedDog into the mix and you are ready to take on the greyest of days,
And here are a few more things I have chosen to ward off the winter blues . . .
I normally go for the more floral perfumes in this range of oils from L’Art du Bain, but recently have started using this Fleur d’Oranger oil and I must confess its a little addictive – to the point I have started using it as a perfume – it just makes me feel like I am spreading a little sunshine onto my skin!
And finally a little touch of blue in the ceramic department!
If this basin is what you need to literally wash away the blues, pop in to the shop Majorelle in Clifton,Bristol which is an Aladdins cave of all things Moroccan and more – and as an added bonus, just in case you are planning a trip to Marrakech, chat to owner Zaid about his beautiful property that he rents out there – if that doesn’t chase away the blues nothing will!
Handpainted Moroccan tiles in browns and blues sold individually or to order – drop me an email if you want more information!
There is going to be a blue-themed giveaway later this week
